Speech by the Chairman of Oman Association for Consumer Protection

 

It is my pleasure to be with you here on this auspicious occasion of launching the official website of Oman Association for Consumer Protection entitled “ Omani Consumer”.

Let me take this opportunity to extend my sincere greeting and best wishes to the entire consumers in the Sultanate of Oman, Arab Countries and in the World on this information break- through of Oman Association for Consumer Protection.

This site is expected to be a lamppost of creating awareness and offer guidance related to all consumer issues in scientific and well-studied manner.

As you aware, the consumer protection, education and awareness is needed an updated information language which should be flexible, more transparent and objective to pace with the speed and development of life. At the same to it will open new horizons of dialogue and communication between the association and consumers.

In this point of view, the website of Oman Association for Consumer Protection is wholeheartedly ready to receive feedback, suggestions and complaints related to all consumer issues. And this site will be an effective tool of communication with the consumers in Oman, Arab countries and around the world.

At the end I express my heartfelt thanks and appreciation for my colleagues the board members and administration body of the Association for their considerable efforts and to all who participated and contributed to bring this site to a reality.
